PACKING
If you do not want the ordeal of packing all your belongings into cartons, why not let us do it for you. Apart from the fact that we have the experience necessary to pack everything so that it arrives at it's destination in the same condition as it departs you will have access to all your everyday items right up to a day or so before the move.

The days of tea chests, that tear your clothes and damage your carpets, are long gone now. Modern cartons and materials come in a variety of sizes to suit all occasions including cartons for china and glass, books, linens and hanging garments.
Add to this clean white paper for wrapping breakables, acid free tissue paper for silverware and very delicate items and bubble wrap or strong paper blankets for over wrapping fine pieces of furniture and antiques and you have all the ingredients for the perfect pack.

However, if you do decide that you would like to carry out your own packing we will supply you with the cartons to do so which we endeavour to deliver well in advance to give you plenty of time.



REMOVALS
We operate a fleet with a variety of vehicles, from Transit vans up to 40 foot long Pantechnicons, ensuring that we have a vehicle of a suitable size for every removal. Each van carries a large amount of soft blankets which are used to wrap every piece of furniture to guard against any damage occurring. Padded suite covers are used if necessary together with mattress and appliance covers. We also carry floor coverings to protect the carpets of both your old and new homes whilst the removal is taking place.

EUROPEAN REMOVALS
We operate throughout the European Union and beyond on a regular basis, particularly France and the Cote D'azur. If you do not have a full vehicle load we may well be able to consolidate it with another trip thus reducing your costs. We are also able to quote should you be returning from abroad to the UK.


STORAGE
You may require storage for a variety of reasons. Your new property may not be available at the same time as the sale of your existing home, you may be working away for an extended period of time or you may wish to clear your house for refurbishment. Whatever the reason we can accommodate you. Storage containers are loaded onto our vehicles by forklift, brought to you and loaded at your door. All furniture is wrapped and an inventory is written for the contents and condition of each container.
 
The containers are then returned to our own warehouses and fork lifted off the vehicles into the store which is clean, dry, alarmed and subject to regular inspections. Your belongings then remain here until redelivery which is simply the reverse procedure. The benefits of this are obvious, no double handling of furniture increasing the chances of anything untoward happening and no chance of anything being mixed up with another load, as is the case with the old fashioned style of conventional storage.

We provide a complete export packing and shipping service to any worldwide destination. Using our links to the shipping lines we arrange to have your effects delivered, unpacked and all debris removed by any one of hundreds of agents throughout the world. From ten cartons to a forty-foot sea container you can be sure that trained experienced operatives will handle your goods throughout the entire process.

Basil Fry and Co, one of the industry's leading insurance brokers, effects our insurance cover. A Memorandum of Insurance explaining exactly what levels of cover are available to you accompanies each quotation we issue. In the case of overseas removals you are supplied with a Marine Insurance proposal form enabling you to work through your home room by room and assess the value of all items to be removed. In the unlikely event of any accident occurring you can rest assured that your belongings are covered.
